Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 12 July 2026
1. Who we are
ElevenEdge is an online educational platform providing 11+ mathematics practice, assessments, worked explanations and progress-tracking tools.
ElevenEdge is operated by:
Rithvik Muthuvelu
Trading as ElevenEdge
24 Mead Rise, Birmingham B15 3SD
Email: muthu@vestaconsulting.co.uk
In these Terms, “ElevenEdge”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator identified above. “You” and “your” refer to the adult who creates an account, purchases a subscription or permits a child to use ElevenEdge.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms apply when you:
- visit the ElevenEdge website;
- create or manage an account;
- allow a child to use the platform;
- purchase or use a subscription; or
- access any ElevenEdge learning material.
By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy and Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy also apply to your use of ElevenEdge.
If you do not accept these Terms, you must not create an account or use the service.
3. Adults, parents and children
The person creating an ElevenEdge account must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract.
Accounts intended for children must be created and managed by a parent, guardian or other authorised adult.
The adult account holder is responsible for:
- providing accurate account information;
- selecting and paying for any subscription;
- supervising the child’s use of ElevenEdge;
- keeping login details secure;
- ensuring that the platform is used in accordance with these Terms; and
- contacting us about account, payment or privacy requests.
A child may use the learning area with the permission and supervision of the adult account holder, but a child must not independently purchase a subscription or make changes to payment details.
4. The ElevenEdge service
ElevenEdge may provide:
- adaptive mathematics practice;
- topic-based question sets;
- worked answers and explanations;
- timed assessments and mock tests;
- worksheets and revision resources;
- progress information and reports;
- skills ratings, scores, badges or streaks;
- leaderboards or optional competitive features; and
- free and paid subscription features.
The exact features available may depend on the user’s plan, school year, device and location.
We may improve, replace, remove or introduce features from time to time. We will not materially reduce a paid subscription during its current paid period without a valid reason.
5. Educational purpose
ElevenEdge is a supplementary learning resource. It is not a school, examination board or private tutoring service. The platform is not intended to replace:
- classroom teaching;
- professional educational advice;
- parental supervision;
- special educational needs support; or
- independent preparation recommended by a child’s school.
We aim to make our questions and explanations accurate and helpful. However, we do not guarantee that every question or explanation will be error-free. Parents and students can report unclear or incorrect content to muthu@vestaconsulting.co.uk.
6. No guarantee of examination results
ElevenEdge cannot guarantee that a child will:
- pass an 11+ examination;
- achieve a particular score;
- receive a school place;
- improve by a specific amount; or
- encounter the same questions in a real examination.
Examination formats, admissions arrangements, pass marks and school requirements may change and may differ between areas and schools. Parents remain responsible for checking the requirements and admissions arrangements for the schools to which they intend to apply.
7. Creating an account
You must provide information that is complete, accurate and current. You must not:
- create an account using another person’s details without permission;
- impersonate another person;
- provide a false school year or identity to manipulate rankings;
- create multiple accounts to avoid payment or usage restrictions; or
- allow unrelated households to share one family account.
We may ask you to verify your email address or other account information.
You should use only a child’s first name, nickname or generated display name within any leaderboard or community feature. Do not use a child’s full legal name as a public display name.
8. Account security
You are responsible for keeping your password and login details confidential. You must contact us promptly if:
- you believe your account has been accessed without permission;
- your password has been disclosed;
- an unknown payment appears on your account; or
- your account information is incorrect.
We may temporarily restrict an account where we reasonably believe that it has been compromised or misused.
9. Free plans
ElevenEdge may offer a free plan with limited access.
Free-plan features, usage limits and availability may change. We may introduce, remove or modify free features without notice, provided that doing so does not remove benefits already paid for under a Premium subscription.
A free account does not guarantee permanent access to any particular question, feature or learning resource.
10. Premium subscriptions
Premium subscriptions may be offered monthly, annually or for another period displayed before purchase. Before payment, we will show:
- the price;
- the billing frequency;
- the main features included;
- whether the subscription renews automatically;
- the date or frequency of renewal; and
- how to cancel.
The price shown at checkout will be the price charged, including any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Only an adult may purchase a Premium subscription.
11. Automatic renewal
Unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout, monthly and annual Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. By purchasing an automatically renewing subscription, you authorise us and our payment provider to collect the relevant subscription fee using your selected payment method until the subscription is cancelled.
A monthly subscription will normally renew each month. An annual subscription will normally renew each year. We will provide renewal information and reminders where required by law. You can prevent the next renewal by cancelling before the next payment is taken.
12. Cancelling a subscription
You may cancel an ElevenEdge subscription at any time. You should be able to cancel through your account settings. You may also request cancellation by emailing muthu@vestaconsulting.co.uk from the email address connected to your account. We will not require you to telephone us to cancel a subscription purchased online.
Unless a cooling-off or refund right applies:
- cancellation stops future automatic renewal;
- no further subscription payment will be taken;
- your Premium access will continue until the end of the period already paid for; and
- the account may then return to the free plan.
Deleting the app, closing the browser or stopping use of ElevenEdge does not automatically cancel a subscription. Cancelling a direct debit or card instruction without cancelling through ElevenEdge may not close the account and may result in an unpaid balance. Please use the cancellation option or contact us.
13. Fourteen-day cancellation and refund period
For a first Premium purchase, ElevenEdge provides a 14-day cancellation period beginning on the day after the subscription is purchased. You may cancel during this period without giving a reason and request a refund.
To keep this simple and fair, ElevenEdge will provide a full refund when a first subscription is cancelled within this 14-day period. Premium access may end as soon as the refund is issued.
Where applicable law provides an additional cooling-off right following a free trial, discounted trial, annual renewal or other subscription renewal, we will honour that right. This section does not reduce any cancellation, refund or consumer rights provided by law.
14. Refunds after the first 14 days
After the first 14 days, subscription payments are generally non-refundable where:
- you simply change your mind;
- the child stops using the service;
- the child sits or finishes an examination;
- you forget to cancel before a monthly renewal; or
- you do not use all available features.
However, we may provide a full or partial refund where:
- you were charged after cancelling correctly;
- you were charged more than the price displayed;
- a duplicate payment was taken;
- Premium access was unavailable for a significant period because of a fault within our control;
- the service was materially different from what was advertised; or
- a refund is required by law.
Refund requests should be sent to muthu@vestaconsulting.co.uk with the account email address and payment details sufficient for us to locate the transaction. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
15. Failed payments
If a subscription payment fails, we may:
- ask you to update your payment method;
- attempt to collect the payment again;
- temporarily restrict Premium features; or
- return the account to the free plan.
We will not knowingly charge undisclosed late fees.
16. Price changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. A price change will not affect a subscription period that has already been paid for. For an automatically renewing subscription, we will provide reasonable advance notice of any price increase. The new price will apply from a future renewal date. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
17. Promotional offers
We may offer discounts, trial periods or promotional pricing. Promotional offers may:
- be available only to new customers;
- be limited to one offer per household;
- expire after a stated period;
- convert to a paid subscription if this is clearly explained before signup; or
- be subject to additional conditions displayed with the offer.
We will clearly display any payment that will be taken when an offer ends and explain how to cancel.
18. Acceptable use
You and any child using your account must use ElevenEdge lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- copy, scrape or bulk-download questions or answers;
- share paid content outside your household;
- resell or redistribute ElevenEdge materials;
- use the platform to provide unauthorised commercial tutoring;
- use bots, scripts or automated tools to access the service;
- attempt to bypass subscription or usage restrictions;
- interfere with the platform or its security;
- introduce malware, harmful code or excessive automated traffic;
- attempt to access another user’s account;
- manipulate scores, ratings, streaks or leaderboards;
- submit abusive, unlawful or inappropriate content;
- use the platform in a way that harms another user; or
- use ElevenEdge content to build or train a competing product or artificial intelligence system.
19. Leaderboards and display names
ElevenEdge may provide optional rankings, scores or leaderboards. Where a leaderboard is used:
- children should use a first name, nickname or generated display name;
- full legal names should not be displayed publicly;
- account holders must not impersonate another student;
- attempts to manipulate results may lead to removal from the leaderboard; and
- we may reset, correct or remove inaccurate scores.
We may allow parents to disable leaderboard participation where the relevant setting is available. Scores, ratings and rankings are motivational and analytical tools. They are not official examination results or certified measures of academic ability.
20. Intellectual property
ElevenEdge and its licensors retain ownership of all intellectual property rights in the platform and its content. Creating an account or purchasing a subscription gives you a limited right to use the platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. It does not give you ownership of questions, explanations, worksheets, software, branding or database content. Further details are set out in our Copyright and Intellectual Property Policy.
21. Third-party names and examination providers
ElevenEdge may refer to examination providers, schools, publishers or curriculum formats for descriptive purposes. ElevenEdge is independent and is not approved, endorsed or sponsored by GL Assessment, CGP, PiAcademy, any grammar school, examination board or admissions authority unless expressly stated. Third-party names and trade marks remain the property of their respective owners.
22. Third-party services
ElevenEdge may use third-party providers for functions such as:
- payment processing;
- website hosting;
- email delivery;
- authentication;
- analytics;
- error monitoring; and
- customer support.
Use of those services may also be subject to the provider’s terms and privacy information. We remain responsible for our own obligations and will select service providers with appropriate care.
23. Privacy and children’s information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Because ElevenEdge is intended to be used by children, the adult account holder must review the Privacy Policy and provide any required permission before allowing a child to use the service.
We aim to collect only information reasonably needed to provide and improve ElevenEdge. Parents or guardians may contact muthu@vestaconsulting.co.uk to ask about the information connected to their account or child, subject to applicable law and appropriate identity checks.
24. Availability and maintenance
We aim to keep ElevenEdge available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- planned maintenance;
- emergency repairs;
- software updates;
- hosting or internet failures;
- security incidents;
- circumstances outside our reasonable control; or
- changes required by law.
Where practical, we will try to provide advance notice of significant planned maintenance.
25. Changes to the service
We may update ElevenEdge to:
- improve learning features;
- correct errors;
- improve security;
- comply with legal requirements;
- replace outdated material;
- respond to examination or curriculum changes; or
- improve performance and compatibility.
We may remove or replace individual questions and resources at any time. If we make a change that materially reduces the main benefits of a paid subscription, we will provide reasonable notice where possible. Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to cancel and receive an appropriate refund.
26. Suspension or account closure
We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe that:
- these Terms have been seriously or repeatedly breached;
- payment has not been made;
- the account is being shared outside the permitted household;
- content is being copied, scraped or redistributed;
- the account is being used fraudulently;
- another user’s safety or privacy is at risk;
- the platform or its security is being attacked; or
- suspension is required by law.
Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. For serious misuse, fraud, security threats or unlawful activity, we may act immediately. If we permanently close a paid account for reasons unrelated to the account holder’s breach, we will normally provide a proportionate refund for the unused paid period.
27. Closing your account
You may ask us to close your account by contacting muthu@vestaconsulting.co.uk. Closing an account may permanently remove:
- student profiles;
- progress history;
- scores and ratings;
- saved questions;
- settings; and
- access to purchased or generated reports.
You should download any information you wish to retain before requesting closure. Closing an account does not automatically create a right to a refund, except where required by these Terms or applicable law.
28. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract began.
ElevenEdge is supplied for personal and household educational use. We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or commercial reputation. We are not responsible for:
- a child failing an examination;
- a school changing its admissions process;
- inaccurate information supplied by a school or third party;
- loss caused by the account holder providing incorrect information;
- problems caused by the user’s device, internet connection or software;
- unauthorised access resulting from failure to protect login details; or
- events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- breach of statutory consumer rights.
29. Your statutory rights
These Terms do not remove or restrict rights that you have under applicable consumer law. Digital content and services must meet legal standards, including being provided with reasonable care and skill and matching material descriptions made before purchase. Where the law gives you a remedy that is more favourable than these Terms, the law will apply.
30. Complaints
We want to resolve problems quickly and fairly. Please send complaints to muthu@vestaconsulting.co.uk. Include:
- the email address connected to the account;
- a description of the problem;
- relevant dates;
- details of any payment involved; and
- screenshots where useful.
We will aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and respond within a reasonable period.
31. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect:
- changes to ElevenEdge;
- changes to subscription features;
- legal or regulatory requirements;
- security improvements; or
- changes to our business operations.
The latest version will be published on the ElevenEdge website with an updated date. For material changes affecting an active paid subscription, we will provide reasonable notice by email or through the platform. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights that have already arisen.
32. Transfer of the service
We may transfer our rights and responsibilities under these Terms to another organisation, for example if ElevenEdge is sold or reorganised. Any transfer must not reduce your legal rights. We will notify affected account holders where required. You may not transfer your account or subscription to another person without our permission.
33. If part of these Terms is unenforceable
Each section of these Terms operates separately. If a court or relevant authority decides that part of these Terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.
34. Delay in enforcement
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.
35. Third-party rights
These Terms are between you and ElevenEdge. Unless expressly stated otherwise, no other person has the right to enforce them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
36. Governing law and courts
These Terms are governed by English law.
- If you live in England or Wales, proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
- If you live in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in Scotland or England.
- If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in Northern Ireland or England.
If you live outside the United Kingdom, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence.
